As part of the International Conference on Unconventional Computation and Natural Computation (UCNC), a workshop on Synthetic Biology is organised by Alfonso Rodríguez-Patón ​and Ángel Goñi Moreno.

The interdisciplinary workshop is targeted at engineers, computer scientists and biologists and aims at studying topics at the intersection of computing and synthetic biology such as:

• Biological information processing
• Synthetic Biology and DNA Computing confluence
• Artificial Intelligence in vivo
• Heterotic living computing
