EuroScience Open Forum Manchester 2016
The EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) is a biennial, multi-faceted event to celebrate and debate scientific research and innovation. With over 4,500 leading thinkers, innovators, policy makers, journalists and educators from more than 90 countries, the conference explicitly addresses the general public and science communicators and seeks to discuss current and future breakthroughs in contemporary science, including the humanities and social sciences.
This year's motto is ‘Science as Revolution’, and the conference programme promises to encourage focus on past, present and future path-breaking science.
Together with SYNBIOCHEM, the University of Manchester’s Synthetic Biology Research Centre for Synthetic Biology of Fine and Speciality Chemicals, SYNENERGENE will host a Science/RRI programme on 'Synthetic biology and the new bio-industrial revolution' on the second conference day:
SYNBIOCHEM/SYNENERGENE session 'Synthetic biology and the new bio-industrial revolution'
ESOF Science Programme, July 25, 2016, Manchester Central Convention Complex
With this session, SYNENERGENE continues its engagement in the ESOF conference series after two successful events at ESOF 2014 in Copenhagen (see here and here).
